The college has a central library with 22,743 volumes, 8,573 titles and 148 Indian periodicals and 93 international periodicals AICTE consortium online journals 801. The library has a collection of more than 1,800 CDs and floppies. A number of books for the preparation of competitive exams like GATE, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, Defense Service and Civil Service are available in both reference and issue sections.
NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning)
NPTEL provides E-learning through online Web and Video courses in Engineering, Science and humanities streams. The mission of NPTEL is to enhance the quality of Engineering education in the country.[1]
A center for a national programme on Technology-Enhanced Learning has been functioning in our college. In this center, the students and faculty members get benefited from the video lectures given by eminent professors from IITs on engineering subjects.
In-campus hostels for boys and girls are available. There are two gents hostel and one ladies hostel. Hostel life at Erode Sengunthar Engineering College is inspired by the slogan "A home away from home."
The professional societies of the college are meant to facilitate the student involvement in extracurricular activities, by giving room for social welfare/community service activities and personality development and talent exposition.
